the fertilized egg implants.

Immunohistochemistry is the technique where substances, such as growth factors, in
sections of
tissue are localized by use of specific antibodies. This technique has been central throughout my PhD studies.

Angiogenesis,
the new building of blood vessel from existing ones (Folkman, 1985).
There are numerous interesting angiogenic growth factors discovered.
However I have focused on a few of them.

analysis to quantify immunohistochemical stainings. Additionally,
performed morphometric or stereological analyses on tissue samples
